It is my privilege to welcome you to the 25th Annual San Antonio Minority Enterprise Development (MED) Week. As we have done since 1983, the San Antonio Minority Business Enterprise Center has gathered together the city's leading business leaders, entrepreneurs, and policy makers to recognize the contributions that minority-owned businesses have made in this community. We will also recognize and honor the achievements of this year's award-winning minority entrepreneurs and business advocates.

The theme for MED Week 2007 is Celebrating the Legacy of Innovation
& Competitiveness. We have events scheduled that will help minority entrepreneurs identify opportunities, build mutually beneficial relationships between suppliers and buyers, and adapt the supply chain processes to their business needs in order to grow, remain competitive in the marketplace, and forge effective business partnerships.
